Review of The Firm (1993) by Don M — 07 Mar 2008
I didn't really like this in the beginning for several reasons: it deviates from the book drastically, the scenes are too short and choppy and the jazz constantly playing in the soundtrack just becomes extremely annoying.
But, I warmed up to it eventually by trying to forget what happens in the book and just think of it as it's own stand-alone film. Some great performances. Tobin Bell has the gayest hair I've ever seen.
One of my favorite moments is when Wilford Brimly says "I get paid to be suspicious when I have nothing to be suspicious about." Badass.
