Haven't read the novel or anything by John Grishom, but this is adeceint thriller. Tom Cruise plays a young law school grad caught between the Mafia,the Memphis Law Firm he works for and the FBI, and has to find a way to save his license, escape the Mob, and placate th Feds.
Good acting by everyone involved especially an early role for Tobin "Jigsaw" Bell.
