Review of The Firm (1993) by Aaron B — 23 Aug 2009
Excellent thriller. Uses suspense and intelligently thought out intense moments rather than fill the film with an hour of fighting and violence, every now and then it's nice to exercise the brain. All the cast perform well (with the exception of the usually hammy and over the top Gary Busey, which I thought was seriously misplaced for this kind of film).
Usually, films peaking at 2 hours in length generally over do it, but this is never the case with The Firm. It always feels fresh and exciting each time I watch it.
These are the kind of films that don't come our way too often and I do enjoy it when I get a chance to see films like this.
