Review of The Firm (1993) by Carolyn G — 09 Dec 2010
First time I've watched this movie in many years. It wasn't the barn-busting blockbuster I remembered from seeing it in the theatre but still pretty good. Tom Cruise was more tolerable than he's been in a long time and Jeanne Tripplehorn was great.
Two things that haven't changed over the years - 1) Holly Hunter ruled in this, even if her total screen time was about 5-6 minutes and 2) Watching Tom Cruise kick the crap out of Wilford Brimley was surreal.
All I could think was "Watch the Grape Nuts!".
