John Grisham's first...and his finest. Director Sydney Pollack assembled a first class cast to fill out this incredibly deep ensemble led by Tom Cruise and Gene Hackman. Everyone gives memorable and endearing performances that still stand as shining examples of the best craft in acting 20 years later.
I fell in love with this law film and its fictitious and felonious firm at first sight. And it still thrills and excites me all these years later.
