Star Wars is kind of what happens when Disney's Imagineers get together and create a really cool dark ride: amazing results. Finest Hours is kind of what happens when Disney tries to create a thrill ride: an experience too scary for kids and not thrilling enough for grownups.
Finest has some great action and it's a story you can't believe is true, but in the end everything is so cliche, so obvious. You not only know who is going to speak next, but you also know what they are going to say.
Worth seeing as a fast-paced visual of a remarkable story, but that's about it.
