The finest hours could put you to sleep with the first twenty minutes, but if you trudge through that you get a great rescue story driven surprisingly by Casey Affleck, and not Chris Pine's underwhelming character.
Worth a watch mainly for its stunning visuals, but it's missing a few to many pieces to say it's above average.
