I almost wish it had been two separate movies, on focusing on the trapped men and the others trying to save them, because it becomes too quick with its character development and Chris Pine and his wife end up as stereotypes as a result.
It's certainly entertaining and has some pretty remarkable sequences, but overall a missed opportunity.
