Review of The Final Girls (2015) by Ryan J — 10 Oct 2015
Max's mum was a b-movie horror starlet, out of luck trying to get work. Then she dies in a car crash and three years later Max finds out that the movie which made her famous is playing at the local cinema with it's sequel and she reluctantly joins her friends to watch it. A fire breaks out and they escape the cinema, or so they think. They end up in the film and soon realise they need to team up with the characters (Max's mum included) to kill the slasher. Things get full on and also quite emotional.
This film was fun, lots of comic violence and some good laughs, it is worth a watch. An enjoyable film with some familiar faces for the tweens, teens and lame adults out there that love stuff like Pitch Perfect and Vampire Diaries.
