Review of The Final Destination (2009) by Scott S — 11 Sep 2011
I am amazed no one was killed by slipping on a banana peel, standing up and being hit by a clumsy builder with a ladder and then a piano falling from a sky scraper - and if the producer/director to the next 10 sequels to this dying series is reading this, don't steal my ideas! This really has become a gory version of those really old slapstick comedies.
The deaths were just comical, I hated the stereotypical characters, the CGI was crap, especially in the premonitions, and I'm guessing this was shown in 3-D at the cinema because so many scenes were quite blatantly made for it.
The first film was a great original idea, the second was still pretty good for a sequel but this is getting slightly embarrassing now.
