Review of The Final Destination (2009) by Nikolaj Z — 23 Dec 2011

I have never seen any of the Final Destination movies prior to this one and this was probably a bad place to start.

The deaths are incredibly stupid and over the top, maybe it looked cool in 3D, but watching it in TV, in 2D they were just really goofy. There is even one death so stupid that you might as well play the Benny hill music over it. There weren't as many boobs as I was led to believe, but at least they were nice. The characters are boring and stupid, they don't figure that all of the deaths are coincidences and they should just go on their way like "oh well". The ending was the greatest insult of the whole thing and really killed the movie for being so predictable and lazy. When the ending came I yelled "I KNEW IT!!!".

Now as much as I don't like this movie, I had fun watching it because I got to yell at the characters and call them dumbasses or bitches when they did something stupid. I don't recommend it at all, but it's probably fun to watch with a big group of people.
