I'm surprised I didn't see this when it came out, because it seems to be plucked from my boyhood fantasies (before my boyhood fantasies involved girls). That said, it's about as silly and pointless as a 10 year old boy's imaginings.
This seems like it was made specifically so little boys could run around during recess reenacting it. Fun, but stupid and pointless.
