This is a warts and all tale of rock and roll...from the sublime to the ridiculous. The Sex Pistols have to be regarded as a national treasure. They give hope to others in a time of depression and feelings of abandonment from a Government who brought the country to a shuddering standstill but found that they also had inner demons which would bring the whole pantomime to a close with the death of bass player Sid Vicious.
You can't understate just what the Sex Pistols did for music and Britain. They should people that they could stick two fingers up an say we'll do what we fucking want.
