Unlike Julien Temple's previous Sex Pistols film "The Great Rock 'N' Roll Swindle" that was based on the blabbermouth that was the Pistols manager Malcolm McLaren's 'view' point, "The Filth And The Fury" is based on the true story of the rise and fall of the notorious punk band and told by the band members themselves.
With it's moving, entertaining and shocking scenes, great music and great directing/editing, "The Filth And The Fury" is not only the best music documentary ever made, it might just be the best documentary ever made period.
A must see for any Sex Pistols fan, and if you don't know anything about the band this is also a good start to find what the Sex Pistols was all about.
