Whodunnit? There aren't really any surprises; Thelma asks for help from the district attorney's office in solving break-ins at her aunt's house and begins an affair with the married assistant DA.
When her aunt is murdered she ends up in court with him as prosecutor in a story whose turns can mostly be predicted.
