Review of The Fighter (2010) by Cole M — 18 May 2012
The Fighter was an amazing epic fighting and boxing film! But this just doesnt have great boxing. It has an amazing story and prefect chemistry between Mark Whalberg and Christian Bale. All of the performances were captivating and Amy Adams performance was suprisingly great! Also the dialouge was so great in this movie.
I thought the writing was really well done. The cinematography in this film in my opinion looked really nice and I think that the direction by David O. Russell was flawless. The film was really entertaining and you really care about every single character in this movie.
In my opinion Christian Bale out did everyone in this film. He should have won an Oscar for his performance! I think the film itself should have won an award in the Oscars. Overall an amazing boxing film with perfect acting, character development, boxing, fighting, and an amazing Sports film! Definitely was blown away!
