Review of The Fighter (2010) by Paolo S — 20 Dec 2012
"The Fighter" is a film that will reach out to the broadest of audiences, whether one is a fan of sports based movies or not. Christian Bale gives yet another credible performance while Mark Wahlberg gains more of my praises for his passionate portrayal of Micky Ward.
The film, while probably not worthy of best picture, is definitely one that will only ripen with age given it's fantastic cast and the stellar performances achieved within it.
