Perfect performances all around with Bale stealing the show in every scene he's in, which is hard to do in this cast. A true to life portrayal of Micky Ward's life up to (but not including) his all-time and career making trilogy against late fighter Arturo Gatti.
A project done with love and respect by Mark, watch the extras for a taste of how well he captures the world of Lowell and how involved the real family actually were in the making of the movie.
