In a three year period Wikileaks had released more documents and broke more investigative stories than the Guardian had in 30 years. "The Fifth Estate" examines modern day investigativate journalism by examining Julian Assange's quest to find a safe place for whistleblowers to hide but in the end lets his ego betray those same sources as the hacker becomes hacked.
Benedict Cumberbatch and Daniel Bruhl give great performances as the opposing viewpoints in the new cyber frontier of journalism.
