Review of The Fifth Estate (2013) by Michelle S — 10 Jul 2014
Interesting movie. Cumberbatch was great (Woah! Totally wasn't expecting that!!!), and I was really surprised by Daniel Bruhl. It was good, but I wouldn't say that it's a movie that you need to rush out to see in theaters, but I definitely reccomend seeing it.
I can see why Julian Assange didn't want the movie made because at some times, it didn't make him seem like a good person; but at other times, it did a good job at helping you see things from his point of view.
This movie helped you see from both sides, and that might come across as flip floppy, but I actually liked it. The closing segment was definitely my favorite part, because it actually added what Julian Assange thought about the movie, which amused me greatly.
