Review of The Fifth Estate (2013) by Vincent W — 09 Sep 2014
The painfully slow first hour kills this film. Every single character is a bore, Assange included. This is quite possibly Cumberbatch's weakest performance. This film doesn't deserve it's classification as a thriller because it lacks the tension required to deserve such a label.
I felt that the film's message was muddled and almost incoherent which utterly sinks the film.
