Review of The Fifth Element (1997) by Kirkl L — 15 Nov 2012
Another Besson classic that is both engrossing and engaging. The world to which we are taken is a futuristic dystopia and one commonly used within the Science Fiction genre. Flying cars and robots are hardly original, however such clichés are used here to stimulate the comedy that is rather deliberately being induced.
An intense and thought-provoking social commentary as well as a visual masterpiece. I would recommend this movie to anybody.
