Review of The Fifth Element (1997) by Donna L — 22 Aug 2015
The visual effects have held their own. Every moment of Fifth Element is ride for the eyes. John Paul Gauthier as the designer just accentuates every characters dynamics as well as curves and beauty. It is an endless array of "one liners" that unfortunately have been lost. The amount of times I have said "Leeloo Dallas multipass" while being carded and the amount of blank stares saddens me as this is truly an epic, glorious movie that should be as beloved as any.
If you only see one Milla Jovovich movie, have it be this or the sequel to blue lagoon ;).
