Review of The Fifth Element (1997) by Anthony M — 15 Dec 2016
This is probably my top 3 favorite sci fi films of all time. It's got everything you would want it's hilarious with Chris Tuckers signature comedy with insane outfits and quotable lines for years to come. I'm at this point where my friends and I find such humor in parts that aren't even suppose to be funny.
Such as Gary Oldman who is fantastic as the villain but especially here. He goes to get the stones and when he finally reaches his ship he opens the case and there not there it's classic.
Highly recommend this! It's action packed, funny as hell, great opera/music throughout and the sets that were created with technology in the late 90s makes its pop. It's stylish and over the top even lame but all in a good way.
