Review of The Fearless Vampire Killers (1967) by Matt N — 06 Mar 2008

Only recently managed to watch this from end to end. Before this I had only ever caught it part way through (usually after getting in from a night on the raz). I think the scene that first caught my attention involves our heroes skiing and there is something slightly sinister and unnerving about it that piqued my interest.

Maybe it's just the lighting but the image of Prof Alfonses skiing in the half-light is a little piece of cinematic magic that I will always remember.
