Review of The Fearless Vampire Killers (1967) by Eitan F — 31 May 2008
Somehow manages to be both extremely silly and eye-poppingly beautiful and extravagant at the same time. This is definitely up there with the best Eastern European fairy tales, and Roman Polanski's even-handed directing and innate gifts for visual charm and clever absurdity are put to extremely good use.
