Review of The Fearless Vampire Killers (1967) by Mike K — 28 Aug 2008
I thought I wasn't going to like this but thought it was brilliant. Greatly shot by the talented Douglas Slocombe and had a Hammer quality to it. It had some good laughs and was so tragic that Sharon Tate didn't get to shine after this film due to the Manson murders.
Roman and Jack were perfect and had great chemistry also. I thought it looked Christmassy with all the snowy setting. The dance scene was a really funny moment! Highly enjoyable but not everyones' cup of tea.
