Review of The Fearless Vampire Killers (1967) by Pyke P — 19 Feb 2009
Also known as "Danc of the Vampires". It shouldn't work but it does! polanski goes light and does a great job in Mel Brooks territory (let alone he's perfect as the shy assistant prof). With a little more effort this one could have been a comedy masterpiece...still it's highly entertaining.
Jack McGowran who plays the prof is just fantastic.
