Review of The Fearless Vampire Killers (1967) by Joseph S — 08 Apr 2010
The Fearless Vampire Killers is less a comedy than a satire--with some pointed comments about the alienation of the Jews. I haven't quite pieced it all out, but this movie has a message.
It's wonderful to see Polanski act--in this movie, and in The Tenant, he's the small man overwhelmed by the evil that surrounds him, but he plays the role with a light touch and a lot of humor.
