I love this movie, I've always loved this movie. My favorite of Polanski's films. Smart, scary and hilarious! It's everything you would want in a film. If you haven't seen it you poor mockery of a person, you should do it now. Go! Now! Run!
The film used to scare the shit out of me as a child. Perhaps because it's such a classicly great story. It's a twisted thing. Great adventure with fabulous story and characters who are very relatable and alive. Nowadays I enjoy it on alot on the humor level, and simply as a fine, fine film.
It's almost a shame that even the great films don't really scare you when you're grown up. Like by gaining some sense and rationality you lose something very magical and powerful. But I also think that there are other, new, maybe more complex(?) experiences and emotional states to be gained with active pursuing and seek of development of your intellect. *Strokes his beard*. WTF.
