Okay so I've been on this True Crime kick lately and just watching everything on Netflix.
I just hit the jackpot. If you love excellent straight storytelling, watch The Fear of 13.
It is sometimes dark, as any story about incarceration would be, but it's so engaging and really beautifully filmed. It's just an interview with a man telling his story backed with crisp sound effects and beautiful abstract visuals.
I am so impressed that such a simple film could keep me so hooked all the way through.
