Watching Emma Stone on the screen is always such a delight. She's got it all when it comes to acting. She's got the unique look, the beauty, and she's one of those actors that just by looking at her eyes, you can understand everything that's going on.

The acting was phenomenal. Top notch stuff. You get really engrossed and lost in everyone's side of the story. The actress that played the queen pretty much stole the show, even though Emma and Rachel's characters were amazing. You really get to see what it could have been like for a queen back in those times. The loneliness you feel, the lack of energy because everyone is sucking it from you, the uncertainty of your sanity. It's all too real in this movie and Yorgos does a great job at getting that feeling across.

This movie invokes a lot of emotions and it does it so elegantly and subtly right before your very eyes and if your not paying attention, (like most of the audience that scored this wonderful movie, you will definitely miss the point of this movie. This movie covered a substantial amount of different topics. For one, loneliness, unexpected love, political issues, the evils of having power, the unexpected turnout of one character. I mean this movie makes you think and that's what's so great about it. You don't have to be smart or even be a movie buff to enjoy this. You just need to pay attention and enjoy the ride, and not question it.

This movie essentially has one of the best character developments I've ever seen and has so many unexpected moments. This movie reminds me a lot of the movie Amadeus and Barry Lyndon. Not because so much the time period but more so how much body language and faces play a vital role in understanding what's going on. When you see Emma's face or the queen's, or Rachel's face, there's so much emotion in the eyes that you can tell, without them even saying a word, what's going on.

I'm really glad I got to see this movie in theaters and enjoy it on the big screen and got to hear the ultra surround sound audio that was used in the movie.

Definitely worth a re watch.
