THIS MOVIE LITERALLY GAVE ME NIGHTMARES. I HAD NO IDEA OF THE CONTENT OF IT AHEAD OF TIME, IT IS DARK, HAS SOME SEXUAL CONTENT THAT MAY BE VERY OFFENSIVE TO SOME PEOPLE, AND TELLS A HORRIFICALLY SAD STORY.
, they DOT IT WITH HUMOR HERE AND THERE, for much needed comic relief. THEY TRY TO ULTIMATELY CONVEY A VERY GOOD MESSAGE, BUT I FELT LIKE I HAD BEEN BEATEN EMOTIONALLY AND MENTALLY AFTER SEEING THIS MOVIE.
I AM IN NO WAY PREJUDICED AGAINST ANY PERSON DUE TO RACE OR SEXUAL ORIENTATION, BUT THERE ARE SOME THINGS I DO NOT **EVER** WANT TO **SEE**. THE ACTING WAS AMAZING, THE CONTENT: sexual, evil betrayal, sexual entrapment, homosexual sex, etc WAS ULTIMATELY HORRIFIC TO ME.
the trailers do not tell the whole story. if this is offensive to you - then **do not** go see this movie. the ultimate message I believe the director was trying to convey - can be conveyed very very differently.
