As with all overly sentimental, trashy pieces of junk literature, the film adaptation has managed to revolt me even more. The horrid language and ideas being thrown around for the duration of the film were beyond belief; the whole fiasco seemed tailored to newly-heartbroken teenagers with their assortment of fan gear and tears.
No true purveyor of literature should read the book; the same goes doubly for this ramshackle excuse of a movie.
