I really wanted to like this movie. But that said I gotta give my criticism on it. It's 20-30 minutes way too long. I get, a lot of it is to build the relationship between Woodley and Elgort, but it slugs the movie.
And that's the main issue. It's still watchable because they handle the subject well (similar to how 50/50 did it for comedies, they do it quite well here in a rom com style), but it just feels too slow for it's own good.
