Review of The Fault in Our Stars (2014) by Russell Q — 05 Jan 2015
The Fault In Our Stars is a movie that will make you laugh and cry. It is one of the greatest love stories ever.
Based on the best selling novel by John Green, the story follows Hazel Grace Lancaster (Shailene Woodley, The Descendants, Divergent), a teenage girl wha was diagnosed with cancer at the age of 13. Hazel is in a rough life: doctors appointments, watching reality shows, and her least favorite is support group. One day at support group, she meets Augustus Waters, (Ansel Elgort), a teenage boy who has a fear of oblivion. Gus soon starts to fall for Hazel and tries to help her with her cancer and cheer her up in one of the greatest love stories of the year.
The Fault In Our Stars is way better than Divergent and Shailene Woodley gives her greatest performance yet. It may not be the best love story ever, but it sure is a great one.
