The movie is very touching and sad . I liked this movie a lot . If you don't like it which Im sure there's people that won't the movie is a chick flick but then again people live a good sad movie.
I can get why people would say it's a cliche or typical sad story. I enjoyed the fact while watching it reminds me that I and a lot of people don't have it so bad to make the best of it . I've been unfortunate to be around scenarios similar to the plot of the movie , so watching his this sadden me but makes you think of how much you should enjoy those around you and life.
