Review of The Fault in Our Stars (2014) by Fernando José G — 28 May 2015
"The fault in our stars" is a film directed by Josh Boone. It is a drama and romance story. It was released in 2014.
The character played by Hazel Grace is the protagonist, she have cancer, Augustus Waters he also is a protagonist and he already has one disease and he cut a leg, Isaac the best friend of Augustus and he is blind, Frannie Lancaster and Michael Lancaster the parents of Hazel.
The story is about a girl named Hazel, she is 16 years old and she has a grave disease en her lungs so she should use a machine inside her lungs and also she should to go in a group to help where she meets Augustus Waters, with 17 years and he have a false leg. They are all the time seeing the other when Augustus invites her to his house, where they talk about one book and they decided to go in Amsterdam to meet the author of this book. But when they see that he is not the person who they think, they are in love. In the end Gus died, Hazy doesn't know what to do when she found a letter and this one was changed her life without her love, Gus.
I don't know what to say about this film, it is a romantic and sad but I really like. I think that Hazel and Augustus do a very good job. This movie is one of my favorites. The music shows a character's emotions. The performances in the film are excellent. One of the most surprising moments in the film occurs when she do a text if he died, I think this is one of the best and emotion scene of the film. It has a sad end. This film is amazing.
I definitely recommend this film to everybody because he is simply perfect.
