I think this might be a film I remember for a long time. The Father is a film that will slowly, emotionally collapse you from the beginning to end. It really makes you feel like you're inside the mind of someone with dementia, and it's truly heartbreaking.
In many ways you could compare The Father to a psychological thriller.
