Review of The Fate of the Furious (2017) by Steve H — 18 Apr 2017
As a huge F&F fan, this one was a disappointment. The script was laughable, line deliveries (outside of Tyrese Gibson) were forced, the CGI looked rushed and visibly fake, and the implausibility of everything seemed to be ramped up to 1,000 (on a scale of 1-10).
Seriously missing Paul Walker and Justin Lin. That being said, the prison break scene was awesome and the end scene on the airplane was exciting, but even those could not save this overly-long installment that felt like it was written and directed by a 9 year-old.
