Review of The Fate of the Furious (2017) by Jake A — 23 Apr 2017

With the previous film being the perfect ending to the start of the reinvention this series went into with Fast Five I was somewhat annoyed by the announcement of this eighth entry into the series and even though it is an unnecessary sequel it is still big fun.

The cast are all excellent (with the new addition of Charlize Theron proving her own against the established characters), the action is incredible and thoroughly exciting (though some of the CGI is a little poor in areas), I love the vehicles used, the humour is really well done and the interplay between the characters is as enjoyable as ever.

Unfortunately the plot isn't the most engrossing and the script outside of the humour and interplay between characters is weak. So even though it isn't the strongest film since the series reinvented itself it is still entertaining and fun.
