Review of The Fate of the Furious (2017) by Witt R — 03 Aug 2017
What started as a quasi-remake of Point Break with cars instead of surfers has turned into nothing more than an over indulgence of completely unrealistic stunts and over dramatic character arcs that feel like they belong more in a soap opera than they do in a movie about STREET RACERS FROM LOS ANGELES. These are supposed to be common people who happen to be exceptionally good precision drivers, but now apparently The Rock is a super-human who can break through steel chains and fling 3 people at the same time like they're cardboard.
Such a waste of time and money. Glad I only rented it and didn't actually pay full price to see it in a theater.
