Review of The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift (2006) by Donald C. D — 26 Jun 2012
Although certainly arguably, I feel this is the greatest in the trio. Widely criticized for it's lack of storyline, when I think of The Fast and the Furious, I think of cars... Cars and speed. Lots of it.
That's exactly what we get with Tokyo Drift, only in a different form. While it could have just as easily been a watered down re-production meshed of the two before it, Tokyo Drift takes a new spin and gains a BIG breath of fresh air.
The story is light indeed, but just light enough to focus on what's important - the cars. Don't worry, you'll get your fill of women and a little drama too, but hands down, the cars shine through on this one.
Absolutely great.
