Review of The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift (2006) by Robert B — 12 Jan 2012
Hey, let's make a movie where we try to recreate the Mario Kart games with real cars! When this movie first started, I was wondering why this guy Sean, who was clearly in his 30s, was talking to some high school kids, but it turns out he is IN high school.
Wow, how many times was he held back? Anyway, Lucas Black is a horrible actor who does a horrible "country boy" accent. He really tries hard to drag down what was already a horrible movie by being void of any and all charisma or presence.
I could not get past how much I wanted to punch this smug, dipshit bastard in the face. Also, you'd think a movie featuring a lot of cute Asian woman would be a draw for me, but it was not. This movie actually managed to be duller than the second one.
The only redeeming moment was Vin Diesel's cameo at the end.
