Review of The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift (2006) by Katie S — 21 Apr 2012
Really a great movie I was very surprised by it as I thought it was another bad sequel but no such thing about a kid who has the urge to street race and gets sent to live with his dad in tokyo gets into a race with another guys car and smashes it then works for that guy which is a pretty original story and its really basic but the action and the story keeps you waiting for more as the movie goes on the special effects were great and are really amazing the car scenes are real life like due to the angles and filming and not make believe riding up walls and stuff but really cool stuff the action was well apced the screenplay was good thedirecting was good and the acting was really there lucas black did a great job as the coboy rider with his quiet tough guy personality bow wow didnt do to much as the friend brian tee as the arrogant king of drifting "bad guy" was a good job with his tough look and sung kang was good as the mentor type of guy and it was good to see a surprise apperence by vin diesel but overall god movie lots of cool action car scenes and some funny stuff definatly an action must see.
