I like the Fast and Furious franchise, but I was not really interested in seeing this one because none of the stars of the original were here. And while it´s the weakest entry, it was better than I expected.
It's entertaining, fast paced and well...there is a lot of cool drifting...in Tokyo. Is it unecessary? Probably. But there's plenty of car races to distract your eyes.
