"The Fast and the Furios: Tokyo Drift" puede parecer una adición innecesaria a la franquicia de autos lujosos y chicas sexys pues no cuenta con ningún miembro del elenco original y los reemplaza por un montón de actores sin vida.
Pero por su cuenta logra entretener y presentar a otro personaje que formaría parte de la franquicia oficial (Kang Sung) e impondría el "Drift" como una moda extrema.
