Review of The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift (2006) by Nivashan M — 18 Feb 2015
There's something about drifting that makes the racing sequences here a lot more interesting. Maybe, binge watching TFATF movies wasn't a great idea if the actual racing becomes monotonous; and drifting actually stands out.
Because aside from the cars and racing, the character work here isn't given much attention. There was a great opportunity to analog the rebuilding of an old wrecked car with the rebuilding of the relationship between the lead character and his father.
.. but alas.
