Review of The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift (2006) by Brandon C — 28 Feb 2017
Where 2 Fast 2 Furious could only attract 2 actors from the previous film this could only really manage 1 and even that was a short cameo. This film feels like using the name to continue to try and drag money into the studio without having to pay inordinate fees to the actors that helped make the former films a success.
Again there were some good car races but the film feels really baggy and the characters are un-engaging. It reflects badly on the characters in this film that the only actor to return is one who they made the unfortunate decision to kill off rather than any of the left alive characters.
