Review of The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift (2006) by Trey W — 08 Aug 2015
My initial thoughts when I caught it on cable:
'Have you ever got fished into a really stupid, pointless film while flipping through the cable channels. Me too. Pass, unless you really have a thing for cars or the actors involved.".
I had to dial that back a bit, as I watched it again in the context of the entire series and I have to admit that while it's not a *good* film per se, after the yawn factor of the second film, this one is actually fairly watchable in comparison to hanging your franchise on Paul Walker's charisma vacuum.
Rental.
